Turntable mats offer a wide range of experimentation to alter sound reproduction and visually enhance the turntable.
Hard materials, such as acrylic, enhance the high- and mid-tone range and provide a more accentuated sound image.
The “Mat Four” features a central indentation for the record label, allowing the record to lie completely flat. Due to its smooth surface, this mat is also ideal for DJs using scratch or back-cueing applications when combined with a felt mat.
The acrylic mat comes with an antistatic coating from the factory. Since acrylic becomes statically charged through friction, regular cleaning with a soft cloth and an antistatic plastic cleaner is recommended. To do this, wipe the surface vertically and horizontally without circular motions.
The “analogis Mat Four” is available in white and is also suitable as a replacement for existing rubber mats or anti-slip mats.
