Turntable mats offer a wide range of experimentation to alter sound reproduction and visually enhance the turntable.
Soft materials, such as the cowhide suede used in the “analogis Mat Six,” offer excellent damping properties, enhance bass and midrange, and create a balanced sound image. Leather does not accumulate static charges and, therefore, does not transfer any to the record. Suede conforms better than smooth leather to both the record and the platter, ensuring optimal damping.
The soft “analogis Mat SIX red” is dyed in a beautiful red. It can also serve as a replacement for the existing rubber mat or as a non-slip mat. If lint formation occurs initially, we recommend cleaning the mat with a standard lint roller or the analogis DeDuster 3345.
