Description
Precise measurement and subsequent adjustment of components enable correct sound reproduction.
Tape recorders, and the tape-contacting parts within them, become magnetized over time due to their design. Magnetized tape heads and guiding components are the main causes of declining playback quality.
The professional demagnetizer removes magnetism from the tape heads of cassette recorders and reel-to-reel tape machines. The demagnetizer should be used after every 15-20 hours of playtime.
Important precautions before use:
Remove all magnetic storage media (video/audio cassettes, tapes, hard drives, floppy disks, and credit cards) within a 3-meter radius. Using the analogis Demag could result in data erasure.
Instructions for use:
- Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet.
- Bring the red tip close to the tape head or guiding parts for a few seconds, performing gentle circular motions. Avoid direct contact!
- Slowly pull the demagnetizer back by at least one meter and then unplug it.
- Do not leave the demagnetizer plugged in for more than 5 minutes at a time to prevent overheating.
- Allow the device to cool down!
Additional notes:
- The analogis Demag is not designed for continuous operation.
- The maximum operating time is 5 minutes, after which the analogis Demag must be disconnected from the power supply.
- Warning: Follow the instructions carefully! Keep out of reach of children! Not suitable for pacemaker users!
