Carbon fibers have conductive properties and typically discharge static electricity through the spindle to the grounding cable. The “analogis Mat Five” combines both materials in a two-layer mix, providing a moderate boost to the bass and midrange while offering antistatic effects.
Due to the material thickness of only 1.3mm, the mat can be placed on the existing rubber mat without requiring a readjustment of the cartridge.
The relatively firm “analogis Mat Five” comes in black and can also be used as a slip mat for scratch applications.
