Turntable mats offer a wide range of experimentation to alter sound reproduction and visually enhance the turntable.
Soft materials, such as felt, emphasize bass and midrange frequencies, creating a rounded sound profile.
The “analogis Mat Eight” is made of pure felt and integrates a stroboscope disk in the label area for speed control with 50 and 60Hz lamps.
The “analogis Mat Eight” is not antistatically coated, as antistatic effects can only be achieved through the use of chemicals. An exception is the “analogis Mat Five,” which uses carbon fibers to dissipate static charges through the spindle to the turntable grounded via a cable. If needed, the “Mat Eight” felt mat can be treated with an antistatic spray designed for clothing.
The soft “analogis Mat Eight” comes in black and is suitable both for sound modifications and as a slip mat for scratch applications.
