Soft materials, such as the cowhide suede used in the “analogis Mat Six,” offer excellent damping properties, enhance bass and midrange, and create a balanced sound image. Leather does not accumulate static charges and, therefore, does not transfer any to the record. Suede conforms better than smooth leather to both the record and the , ensuring optimal damping.
The soft “analogis Mat SIX black” is dyed in a deep black. It can also serve as a replacement for the existing rubber mat or as a non-slip mat. If lint formation occurs initially, we recommend cleaning the mat with a standard lint roller or the analogis DeDuster 3345.
