Description
Precise measurement and subsequent adjustment of components enable correct sound reproduction.
To determine whether a turntable without a stroboscope marking on the platter is running at the correct speed, you need our analogis stroboscope disc Perfect Pitch and a 50 Hz AC lamp.
This disc features dotted/broken circles. The speeds 33 ⅓, 45, and 78 revolutions per minute (RPM) can be measured under 50 Hz light using the three outer rings. It starts on the outermost ring with 33 ⅓ RPM, followed by 45 RPM, and ends with 78 RPM.
The stroboscope disc “Perfect Pitch” is placed on the turntable spindle through the hole in its center. If the turntable is running, for example, at the set speed of 33 ⅓, the dots on the outer ring of the Perfect Pitch disc (under 50 Hz light) must remain visibly stationary. If they move in the direction of playback, the turntable is running too fast; if they move in the opposite direction, it is running too slow. The device must be adjusted accordingly.
- Highly precise tool for speed control on the turntable
- Durable and long-lasting plastic construction
- Easy to use
